The lake's fishing and recreational activity has come to a virtual standstill because of the dry weather. As you can see, the level is down drastically. Pray for rain!

Century Tower Comes to Bream

Now that it's football season, everyone has that old Gator spirit at Bream Lake. We've even arranged to bring a bit of the UF campuse to the lake. This is the sight across the lake.

The color of the water is genuine (that portion of this composite image was captured during a beautiful Florida sunrise). The ducks were really there.. The sky was added, but all were captured at Bream Lake in North Central Florida.

We're into the rainy season now and it is sorely neeeded. These cows are located at North Caledonia Ranch, not far from Bream Lake. We visit there every week and feed the horses carrots and the dogs biscuits. Alas, we cannot feed the cattle and we always have a pang of guilt when we leave them.
